Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the soldiers and the nation from Adampur air base in Punjab on Tuesday where he saluted the Indian Armed Forces for the success of 'Operation Sindoor' amid the cheers of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.
PM Modi towards the end of the speech said, "India is always with peace but it is always ready to make enemy bite dust if it is attacked."
PM Modi also stated, "'Bharat Mata ki Jai' is not just a slogan, but our soldiers' pledge to dedicate their lives for nation." He added, "When our drones, missiles hit our enemies, they hear 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'".
The PM interacted with air force personnel, who have been in the thick of action during the recent conflict with Pakistan. "India is eternally grateful to its armed forces for everything they do for our nation", he said on X following the visit.
PM's speech at the air base comes a day after he addressed the nation on the same and praised the IAF personnel for their contribution to India's safety and success of Operation Sindoor.

Addressing the IAF personnel at the second largest air base in India, PM Modi said, "I have come here to pay homage to your bravery." He added, "Tales of your valour will be etched in history forever; I salute our Army, Air Force and Navy personnel."
PM Modi said, "India is land of Gautam Buddha as well as Guru Gobind Singh; our enemies forgot they have challenged India's armed forces".
"Because of your courage, echoes of Operation Sindoor's success can be heard across the globe".
PM Modi praising the IAF, stated, "With Operation Sindoor, you have enhanced India's self-confidence, unity among people."
He said, "IAF targeted terror bases deep inside Pakistan with speed and precision that left enemy stunned."
"Every moment of Op Sindoor is testimony of valour of our armed forces, it proves supremacy of our Army, Air Force and Navy," he added.
PM Modi hailed coordination between Army, Navy and Air Force as 'perfect', said this is called 'jointness'. Also said, "Amazing coordination between manpower and machine power was on display."
PM Modi On Pakistan & Terrorism
PM Modi referring to Pakistan said, "Godfathers of terrorism have realised that casting an evil eye on India will only mean their destruction," adding. "Our Army, Air Force and Navy personnel made Pakistani army bite the dust and showed them their place."
"Pakistan will not get any sleep for a long time just thinking of our drones and missiles," said PM.
PM Modi said that Pakistan's 'naapak' intentions have been defeated every single time by our armed forces.
He said, "Our 'lakshman rekha' for Pakistan is very clear; any terror attack will be met with definitive reply on our own conditions."
PM Modi confirmed that "Despite best efforts of Pakistan, our airbases and defence infrastructure remained unharmed."
PM stated, "We do not fight only with weapons any longer, also fight with drones and data."
He reiterated, "We need to always remain alert and prepared, we need to keep reminding enemy that it is dealing with new India."
