The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to restart on 17 May after being suspended for a week following increased border conflicts between India and Pakistan. Following the league라이브 바카라 resumption, most of the top overseas players are set to return to India to take part in the remaining 17 fixtures.
As per a report by Cricbuzz, most of the overseas players are in line to rejoin the league, except a couple of Australian players. Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg, as quoted by Cricbuzz, said that the Aussie players “are all making their decisions tonight”, and that “many will return”.
Out of the 16 Australians contracted to IPL teams, the biggest name confirmed to return is Australia라이브 바카라 Test captain and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper Pat Cummins. Despite having one eye on the World Test Championship final at Lord라이브 바카라 next month, Cummins will complete SRH라이브 바카라 remaining two league fixtures, alongside compatriot Travis Head.
With SunRisers already out of playoff contention, both players are expected to return to Down Under after their final fixture on 25 May.
Other teams are also likely to have their full-strength overseas contingent back. Gujarat Titans (GT), who have already started their practice sessions, will expect the South African duo of Kagiso Rabada and Gerald Coetzee to be back, especially with their playoff chances hanging in the balance.
Another team to expect the return of almost every single overseas player is defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals, already eliminated from the tournament, will have one of their top scorers, Jos Buttler, back by 14 May, as per the Cricbuzz report.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have received confirmations from most of their foreign players, including Devon Conway, though Rachin Ravindra remains unconfirmed at the moment.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will expect the return of Liam Livingstone, Lungi Ngidi, and Nuwan Thushara, but there has been a setback for Josh Hazlewood. The Australian has suffered an injury and will reportedly be unavailable for the rest of the season.
Two players who are most likely to skip the IPL 2025 restart are Delhi Capitals’ (DC) skipper Mitchell Starc and Jake Fraser-McGurk. The duo were reportedly heavily affected by the stadium blackout during their match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Dharamsala and the 10-hour bus journey that followed, and are likely to stay away from India for the time being.
Other players like the DC pair of Faf du Plessis and Tristan Stubbs are set to return, but PBKS are still waiting for the final word on Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis, both of whom are under consideration for the WTC final.
