'OMG 2' starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam has been embroiled in controversies before its release. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film with an A certificate and Akshay's character was also modified to a messenger of Lord Shiva. In a video shared on subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip on the social media platform Reddit on Saturday, Akshay Kumar went to a theatre in Mumbai to watch the film with the audience. After the screening, he interacted with the cine-goers and taking a jibe at CBFC, he said, "Kamaal ki baat bataun, pehli adult film hai jo teenagers ke liye bani hai (The funny thing is that this is the first adult film which is made for teenagers)."

'OMG 2' is a sequel to the 2012 hit film 'OMG - Oh My God!' that starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. The sequel is directed by Amit Rai, and it released in theatres with Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2'.
