Ralph Fiennes starrer political thriller Conclave, which revolves around the papal election, revealing dark Vatican secrets, has finally made its way to the OTT space in India. Indian audiences can now watch the BAFTA Award-winning and Oscar-nominated film on Prime Video. 

Conclave OTT release date in India

The award-winning film has started streaming in India from May 7. On Wednesday, Prime Video announced the OTT release date of Conclave in India on its Instagram handle. "The conclave is now in motion 🚪#ConclaveOnPrime, Watch Now," read the caption.

About Conclave

The critically-acclaimed film is based on Robert Harris's 2016 novel of the same name. It is directed by Edward Berger and jointly written by Peter Straughan and Robert Harris.

It had a world premiere at the 51st Telluride Film Festival and had a great theatrical run. It was also named one of the top films of 2024 by the American Film Institute.

Conclave received rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. It clinched an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Alongside Ralph Fiennes, the film also features  Stanley Tucci, Isabella Rossellini, Jacek Koman, Lucian Msamati, and John Lithgow, among others in significant roles.

Conclave story

Conclave is set in Vatican, and it follows Cardinal Lawrence (Fiennes), who is in charge of the selection of a new Pope- one of the world라이브 바카라 oldest and most secretive processes. He soon finds himself trapped in a web of secrets and conspiracies in the Catholic Church, as he looks after the sacred event after the sudden demise of the reigning Pope.

As per reports, Conclave made a gross collection of approximately $119.1 million worldwide. It was said to be made on a budget of $20 million.
