The 31st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) were held on Sunday night at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium and Exposition Hall, to honour the year's best acting performances.

Timothée Chalamet took home the Best Actor award for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, while Demi Moore bagged the Best Actress award for her role in The Substance.

Chalamet, 29, becomes the youngest actor ever to win the SAG Award for lead actor, beating the previous record set by Nicolas Cage, who won the Best Actor SAG award at age 32 for Leaving Las Vegas (1995).

In his acceptance speech, Chalamet said, “I was not expecting this at all, truly,” and added, “I know the classiest thing would be to downplay the effort that went into this role and how much this means to me. But the truth is, this was five and a half years of my life. I poured everything I had into playing this in comparable artist Mr. Bob Dylan, a true American hero. It was the honor of a lifetime playing him.”

Moore said, “That little girl who didn’t believe in herself,” adding, “The words are kind of beyond me, so I’m just gonna have to say thank you.”

Conclave, an election thriller, won the top prize for best motion picture cast and Shōgun and Only Murders in the Building won ensemble prizes in the drama and comedy categories.

This year라이브 바카라 lifetime achievement award was given to Jane Fonda.
