Naagzilla first look: Kartik Aaryan has collaborated with Karan Johar in the fantasy thriller. He will play ichchhadhari naag in the upcoiming project.
Kartik Aaryan has teamed up with Karan Johar for an upcoming supernatural comedy, titled Naagzilla. The film marks the first official collaboration between Kartik and Karan, after their fallout over Dostana 2. The project is totally different from what Dharma has produced till now.
Directed by Mrigadeep Singh Lamba of Fukrey franchise, Naagzilla will release on Nag Panchami, on August 14, 2026.
On Tuesday, Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle to share the first look poster of Kartik from the movie. A motion poster shows shirtless Kartik facing his back, looking at a city. He has a green, snake-like skin and is seen wearing only a pair of blue jeans.
Kartik Aaryan plays an Ichhadaari Naag named Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand.

It has been backed by Dharma Productions, in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films. Naagzilla is a blend of fantasy, folklore, and fun and promises to provide a full dose of entertainment.
Naagzilla is going to lock horns with Varun Dhawan's Bhediya 2.
On the work front, Kartik was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He is currently shooting for Anurag Basu's romantic film, which also stars Sreeleela.
