Actor-singer, Diljit Dosanjh made his much-awaited Met Gala debut by serving a Maharaja look, a perfect tribute to his Punjabi roots. Diljit Dosanjh's Met Gala look was designed by ace designer Prabal Gurung, who previously styled actor Alia Bhatt at the 2023 Met Gala for her debut. The outfit seemed to perfectly align with the this year's Gala theme, dandyism, screaming self-expression rooted in his Punjabi identity.

The ivory suit which included an achkan and pajama, a turban and a floor-length cape was "tailored" for Diljit Dosanjh, fitting the theme even more. The cape was embroidered with Punjabi alphabets. It featured the map of Punjab in gold embroidery and the back of it had mool mantra written in Gurmukhi.
He also carried a sword, which was a homage to Patiala's Maharaja Bhupinder Singh. Styled by Abhilasha Devnani, the global pop icon wore a turban, adorned with accessories, along with the layered neckpieces of pearl and emerald, which further accentuated the regal look.

As per a report in The Times of India, Diljit Dosanjh is the only Indian celebrity this year who has been invited to attend and dine at Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour라이브 바카라 exclusive post-Met soirée.
The theme of this year's Met Gala is 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' and the dress code is 'Tailored for You'.
It is inspired by Monica L Miller's 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
Other Indian celebrities who attended the Met Gala 2025 are Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Natasha Poonawalla, Mona Patel, and Manish Malhotra.
