Paatal Lok Season 2 will start streaming on Prime Video on January 17.
After the successful Paatal Lok Season 1, Prime Video is back with Season 2 after five years. On Thursady, the streaming platform unveiled the much-anticipated Paatal Lok 2 teaser, which shows the return of Hathiram Chaudhary (Jaideep Ahlawat) as the brave and powerful policeman.
The teaser offers a glimpse of the new adventure in season 2. Hathiram, gets inside an elevator and presses the button 'P', which stands for parking. He then narrates a story of a man who hated insects and how he was bitten by an insect and gathered the courage to kill it and was later celebrated by the villagers for becoming saviour. Hathiram also says that the man slept peacefully for several nights but later found out that there were countless insects. As he narrates the story, the elevator malfunctions and we see him bruised. Towards the end of the teaser, he says, “Use kya laga tha, ek keede ko maar dia toh khel khatam. Aisa thode hota hai Paatal Lok? (What did he think? Killing one pest is enough? That라이브 바카라 not how Paatal Lok works).’
Sudip Sharma, the creator and showrunner of the series, in a statement said, "The overwhelming response to the first season inspired me to craft stories that are raw, relatable, and intensely gripping. Collaborating with an exceptional team has been a privilege, and we've amplified the themes of crime, mystery, and suspense in this new chapter."
Paatal Lok 2 will have Ishwak Singh reprising his role. It will also star Tillotama Shome and Gul Panag.
It is directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware and is produced by Clean Slate Filmz in collaboration with Eunoia Films LLP. Paatal Lok 2 will premiere on Prime Video on January 17.
