After the successful three seasons, Prime Video's one of the most beloved shows, Panchayat is all set to return with Season 4. As the series completes five years today, the makers announced the release date of Panchayat 4 with a hilarious video.
Prime Video took to Instagram to share the video collaborating with social media influencers like Bhupendra Jogi, Darshan Magdum and Vijay Kumar, who are seen in the Panchayat office. The video starts with Darshan Magdum singing, “Panchayat hatao, naukri bacaho (Remove Panchayat, save jobs)”, in karaoke style. It then shows Gia Manek's Gopi Bahu from Saath Nibhana Saathiya, washing books before saying that Panchayat has taken credit for all the memes on social media. She says that the meme, “Ek-ek chai hojaaye (Shall we have tea together?)”, is ''just a sentence."
Then enters Jitendra Kumar saying internet wants a meme that goes viral all over the world. He asks not to run after being viral, but create a moment. He then changes his character from Abhishek to Jeetu Bhai from Kota Factory and asks, "Panchayat has turned five now; where do you see yourself in five years?" He then reveals that Panchayat new season is coming this year itself. Gia then asks, "If it's coming this year, then can we drink green tea while sitting on a tank?" Jitendra runs away without replying. Towards the end of the video, makers reveal that Season 4 of Panchayat is releasing on July 2.
Jitendra's co-stars — Durgesh Kumar and Ashok Pathak also appear in the rib-tickling video.
