Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 opened to mixed reviews. The sequel to 2018 film Raid, had a promising start as it earned Rs 19.25 crore on its opening day. But the collections dropped by 38.96% on Day 2. The crime thriller collected just Rs 12 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. The total domestic collection of Raid 2 stands at Rs 31.25 crore nett.

Raid 2 box office collection day 2: Ajay Devgn's film earned Rs 19.25 crore on its debut day, but witnessed a dip on day 2.
Raid 2 had an overall occupancy of 19.23% on Friday with about 4711 shows across the country. Reportedly, about 150 shows were reduced on the second day of its release compared to 4843 shows on Day 1.
On Day 2, night shows saw maximum footfall of 35.70%, while morning shows had the minimum occupancy of just 7.13%.
The worldwide box office collection of Raid 2 in two days stands at Rs 40.50 crore, with Rs 3.35 crore from the overseas collection.
Ajay has returned as Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Amay Patnaik, who locks horns with corrupt politician, Dada Manohar Bhai (played by Riteish Deshmukh).
Patnaik conducts his 75th raid at Dada Bhai's residence, to find out the black money from his house.
Apart from Ajay and Riteish, Raid 2 also stars Saurabh Shukla, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial, among others in significant roles.
The film has been directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar.
