Sikandar Release Date: Salman Khan finally officially announced the release date of his upcoming film Sikandar. The action thriller will hit the theatres this March coinciding with Eid and other festivals like Gudi Padwa and Ugadi- New Year celebrations in Maharashtra and South India. On March 19, taking to his Instagram handle, Salman Khan wrote, "See you in theatres worldwide on 30th March! #Sikandar#SajidNadiadwala's #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss."
Alongside the release date, he also unveiled a new poster of Sikandar, featuring himself.
Ghajini and Thuppakki fame AR Murugadoss, has helmed the film. It marks Salman's first collaboration with Murugadoss.
Sikandar is said to have a runtime of 2 hours 30 minutes.
Apart from Salman and Rashmika, Sikandar also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna in significant roles. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, it has been shot in multiple locations, including Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Yesterday, there was a special screening held at Excel office in Khar, Mumbai, and the entire Khan clan attended it. Salman Khan, Salim Khan, Arbaaz Khan, his wife Sshura Khan, Aayush Sharma, Arpita Khan Sharma, Alvira Khan, Atul Agnihotri and their kids Alizeh and Ayaan, producer Nikhil Dwivedi and AR Murugadoss were spotted at the screening.
As per reports, Sikandar has been made on an estimated budget of Rs 200 crore, and will be released in standard and IMAX formats. It promises to be a cinematic spectacle packed with high-octane action sequences, powerful dialogues, emotions, and intense drama.
