Chiranjeevi was honoured with the UK Lifetime Achievement Award from the British government for his contributions to cinema and society.
Megastar Chiranjeevi scripted history by becoming the first Indian celebrity to receive the UK Lifetime Achievement Award from the British government. The 69-year-old actor was honoured with the award at the UK Parliament in London, for his contributions to cinema and society.
The ceremony was held on March 19, 2025, at the House of Commons. Prominent dignitaries, including Members of Parliament from the ruling Labour Party—Navendu Mishra (Stockport), Sojan Joseph, and Bob Blackman, among others were in attendance at the felicitation.
Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister and Chiranjeevi's brother, actor Pawan Kalyan, congratulated the latter on the achievement.
He shared a couple of pictures from the ceremony where Chiranjeevi can be seen receiving the award. Pawan Kalyan penned a lengthy note in Telugu alongside the pics.

He also wrote he is happy that Chiranjeevi was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award and congratulated him and wished him to receive more awards in the future and be a guide for all of them.
On the professional front, Chiranjeevi will be seen in socio-fantasy film, Vishwambhara, which also stars Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Ashika Ranganath, and Ramya Pasupuleti. He also has a gangster drama with Srikanth Odela, and a comedy entertainer with Anil Ravipudi.
