The trailer of Superboys of Malegaon, starring Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Shashank Arora in lead roles, was unveiled today, February 12. Based on a true story, the Reema Kagti directorial is all set to hit the screens worldwide on February 28. It has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's Tiger Baby. The film has been written by Varun Grover.

It starts with Nasir Shaikh, who wants to make movies in his small town Malegaon and for the people of Malegaon. He wants to transform Malegaon into Bollywood, with his out-of-the-box thinking, and ideas. His friends support him and together they decide to create a movie. The trailer is filled with mixed emotions- love, romance, comedy, and anger.

Talking about the international acclaim and praise, Superboys of Malegaon opened at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival in the World Premieres section. The film received a special mention in the Young Cineaste Award category at the 36th Palm Springs International Film Festival. It also received love and critical acclaim at the 68th BFI London Film Festival, and the 4th Red Sea Film Festival.

The film also stars Pallav Singh, Manjiri Pupala, Saqib Ayub, Muskkaan Jaferi, Anuj Singh Duhan, and Riddhi Kumar in supporting roles.
