HOME, a short directed by interdisciplinary artist Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee is now an official selection at the very prestigious I VIEW WORLD International film festival in Delhi. Presented by ENGENDERED, an organization that focuses on gender politics and equality through arts, this festival over the last 12 years has hosted veteran filmmakers like Deepa Mehta, Mira Nair, Aparna Sen, Onir and so many others. Apart from showing his film, Sujoy shall also be on the panel discussions for a few film screenings. HOME, inspired by a poem by Arundhathi Subramaniam, is a silent trajectory of gender politics featuring twelve top women actors from the film industry in Kolkata. Presented by Rituparna Sengupta and mentored by Sohag Sen, this short was also screened at Kolkata International film festival and Birmingham Indian film festival.

HOME, a short by Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee, is an official selection at I VIEW WORLD Film Festival, Delhi. Screening on March 15 at 5:30 PM, it explores gender politics.
"This festival is a melting pot of arts that lead gender to be a spectrum and not boxes. I am glad that my film found a fit here", said Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee.
Led by Myna Mukherjee, this year's selection shall also see the Delhi premiere of PUWRATON directed by Suman Ghosh, a much-awaited film featuring Sharmila Tagore, Rituparna Sengupta and Indroneil Sengupta.
On March 15th, HOME is being screened at 5.30pm at Travancore Palace and PUWRATON at 6pm.
I VIEW WORLD International film festival is open to public viewing only through free registration between March 12th and March 19th.
