This version will be called the Mojo UT300, where UT stands for universal tourer. It will be launched as a more affordable alternative to the current Mojo which will be called the Mojo XT300 (Xtreme Tourer).

The price cut comes at the cost of a lot of premium components. For starters, it will see a switch to carburetion from EFI. While the overall silhouette of the bike remains the same, the UT300 misses out on LED DRLs. Also, instead of gold painted forks and frame, it gets a gloss black finish. Mahindra Two Wheelers plans to focus on just the premium space with the Mojo and a more cost effective variant is the next step in their plan. The Mojo UT300 and the rebadged Mojo XT300 is expected to be launched at the upcoming Auto Expo. Expect the UT to be priced around the Rs 1.5 lakh mark. At this price it would become a more affordable alternative to the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Royal Enfield Thunderbird.
