The class 12th exams were conducted from February 24 to March 22 at 60 centres across the state, with a total of 21,506 candidates appearing for the Class 12 board examinations. Likewise, class 10th examinations were conducted at 68 centres, and were held from February 25 to March 18 at 68 centres. 30,126 candidates registered for the 10th board exams.
In 2024, 98.70 % students passed in the science stream, while 83.60 % passed in the commerce stream. In the humanities, 76.42 % of students passed their school finals. Last year, 87.54 % of 33,729 students qualified for higher studies, while 79.27 % of 25,350 Class 12th students passed the Higher Secondary examination.
