Born in Santiago, Chile, his family sought political asylum in Denmark and later the United States during the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. He was raised primarily in Orange County, California, and San Antonio, Texas.
Pascal developed an interest in acting from a young age, participating in school productions. He attended the Orange County School of the Arts and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
