The Australian PM is set to break the anti-incumbency curse by becoming the first prime minister to win consecutive terms in the last 20 years.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is all set to claim victory for a second consecutive term with his Australian Labor Party (ALP) in the Federal elections 2025. The official counting is not yet completed but the centre-left government of Anthony Albanese has already gained a significant majority against the Liberal-National coalition.
Albanese has become the first president to win consecutive elections in the last 20 years. The Opposition coalition라이브 바카라 leader Peter Dutton who lost his seat after 24 years accepted full responsibility for the defeat and congratulated Albanese on his win. “We didn’t do well enough during this campaign, that much is obvious tonight, and I accept full responsibility for that,” Dutton asserted.
Albanese라이브 바카라 Labor party is considered to be on track to win 86 seats in the election. Speaking of his victory, the Australian PM added, "Today, the Australian people have voted for Australian values: for fairness, aspiration and opportunity for all; for the strength to show courage in adversity and kindness to those in need."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Australian PM on X stating, "Congratulations @AlboMP on your resounding victory and re-election as Prime Minister of Australia! This emphatic mandate indicates the enduring faith of the Australian people in your leadership."
"I look forward to working together to further deepen the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and advance our shared vision for peace, stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific," he added further.
The PM was predicted to lose this election with projected numbers showing a receding popularity earlier this year. The victor라이브 바카라 campaign was driven by the affordability of healthcare, housing, inflation and migration.
Albanese had also vowed to facilitate reconciliation between the indigenous and the non-indigenous people.
According to election authorities, 18.1 million voters had registered for the election with almost half of them casting an early ballot.
