Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs did not go well with China as they face levies of up to 145 percent for selling goods to US, they responded back with its own retaliatory tariff on US-made goods. Beijing called Trump's tariffs 'bullying' and imposed retaliatory duties of 125 percent on US imports.
Bloomberg News has reported that China ordered airlines to halt deliveries of Boeing planes, citing people familiar with the matter.
Beijing has also told its carriers to suspend purchases of aircraft-related equipment and parts from US companies, the financial news outlet reported the people as saying.

The two economies are now locked in an all-out, high-intensity trade standoff. And China is showing no signs of backing down.
