In Pictures: Military Mobilisation Underway In Congo As Rwanda-Backed Rebels Expand Control

In view of the restive situation in the country, Congo's President Félix Tshisekedi vowed a vigorous and coordinated response to push back the rebels while reaffirming his commitment to a peaceful resolution. The president called for a massive military mobilisation to help fight Rwanda-backed rebels who were attempting to seize more territory in the country's eastern region which has vast mineral deposits.
