In a major breakthrough, Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire to halt the fighting and ongoing war in Gaza. The first phase is expected to be implemented on Sunday - January 19. During this, around 33 Israeli hostages will be released in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. With the announcement of the ceasefire, Gazans took to the streets to celebrate a pause in the war and prayed for a potential end to fighting.
