Israel launched fresh airstrikes in Beirut on Sunday violating the November ceasefire agreement with the militant group Hezbollah. The attack which was carried out in the residential neighbourhood of Dahiyeh reported no casualties as Israel had issued an evacuation warning leading up to the bombing.

Israel has claimed that the attack was conducted targeting a Hezbollah store of precision-guided missiles that poses a threat to the state of Israel.

Videos have surfaced showcasing rescue workers dousing fires after three bombs hit the neighbourhood in Lebanon. The Lebanese president, Joseph Aoun has called for mediation from the US and French authorities who had brokered a peace deal in November to pressurise Israel into suspending its airstrikes on the nation.

The November ceasefire had halted a 13-month clash between Israel and Hezbollah that began in October 2023 in lieu of Israel라이브 바카라 offensive on Gaza. Hezbollah had launched air-borne strikes at Northern Israel in solidarity with Hamas라이브 바카라 attack on the Southern part of the Jewish state.

Hezbollah has not yet responded to the strikes with most of its leaders dead and its capabilities curtailed.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu라이브 바카라 office has asserted that “they will not allow Hezbollah to grow stronger and neither will the Dahiyeh neighbourhood be allowed to serve as a safe haven for the terrorist organization.”

According to the terms of the ceasefire deal, any violations are supposed to be referred to an independent committee which the Lebanese claim that Israel is bypassing.

Previously, Israel's strikes in Beirut had killed four people including a Hezbollah official.
