12 drones of Indian-origin were neutralised in multiple cities of Pakistan on Thursday, as per media reports.

AFP reported that Pakistan's military on Thursday confirmed downing of at least 12 Indian drones in Pakistan. This escalation comes after India launched 'Operation Sindoor', targeting nine terrorist infrastructure across Pakistan on Wednesday.

The Civil Aviation Authority stated that airports in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore were closed until 6:00PM local time, as per AFP.

Additionally, at least four Pakistani soldiers were injured in Lahore as a result of a drone attack. One civilian was killed in southern Sindh province, according to AP.

"Last night, India showed another act of aggression by sending drones to multiple locations," AFP quoted Pakistan's military spokesman Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.

Tensions in India and Pakistan have escalated since the April 22 Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir when at least 26 civilians were killed. India retaliated on May 7, launching ‘Operation Sindoor’ where New Delhi carried out a "measured, non-escalatory, proportionate, and responsible" strike to dismantle nine terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.

Pakistan라이브 바카라 Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif vowed a retaliation to India, mentioning that New Delhi라이브 바카라 Operation Sindoor is a “blatant act of war”.

"For the blatant mistake that India made last night, it will now have to pay the price," Sharif said in a televised address on state broadcaster PTV, Reuters reported. "Perhaps they thought that we would retreat, but they forgot that...this is a nation of brave people."
