Top officials from Russia and Ukraine on Saturday leveled blame against each other during a high-level conference in Turkey for allegedly breaching the 30-day-long ceasefire to cease strikes on energy infrastructure brokered by the United States after talks were held in Saudi Arabia last month, AP reported.

The annual conference Antalya Diplomacy Forum was attended by the foreign ministers of both Russia and Ukraine, where they spoke at different events, accounting for attacks after the temporary ceasefire was initiated.

In the latest progression of the three-year-long war, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday in a discussion that ran for almost four hours.

European allies promised Ukraine billions of dollars on the same day to assist its resistance to Russian invasion.

Is there a ceasefire?

After a 12-hour-long discussion in Saudi Arabia on March 25 this year, a ceasefire to halt maritime attacks in the Black Sea and energy infrastructure was brokered by the U.S., while Washington also eased sanctions on Russian agricultural and fertilizer exports it had put on the Kremlin.

Both countries have maintained the stance that the ceasefire was repeatedly violated. “The Ukrainians have been attacking us from the very beginning, every passing day, maybe with two or three exceptions,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, adding that the country has shared intelligence with the U.S. compiling around 60 violations by Ukraine.

His counterpart from Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha said, “almost 70 missiles, over 2,200 (exploding) drones, and over 6,000 guided aerial bombs at Ukraine, mostly at civilians,” adding that Russia라이브 바카라 counter-claims are false. He further said that these attacks reveal who wants world peace and who does not.

Talks of ceasefire have accelerated ever since Donald Trump became President this January. “Too many people are dying thousands a week, in a terrible and senseless war – A war that should have never happened, and wouldn’t have happened, if I were President!!!” he posted on social media on Friday, urging that Russia has to “get moving” to end war against Ukraine.
