Syria: Over 1000 Killed As Clashes Erupt In Syria

Clashes between the Syrian security services and fighters loyal to the Assad regime broke out last week. This clash kicked off five days of fighting, which has killed over 1,000 people, of which around 745 are civilians. These are the first major clashes to break out in the country following the fall of the Assad regime.
