Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bansuri Swaraj entered Parliament on Tuesday carrying a bag that read “National Herald Ki Loot”, drawing attention to the recent cases filed by ED against Rahul and Sonia Gandhi. The move has garnered significant attention as she arrived in the Parliament Annexe building to attend the Joint Parliamentary Meeting pertaining to the ‘One Nation, One Election Initiative’.

While carrying the bag with a bold red text, she asserted that corruption has penetrated the fourth pillar of democracy for the first time. She mentioned how it is a traditional functioning style for Congress where institutions meant for public good are diverted towards personal gains calling for the leadership to be held accountable.

What is the case?

ED had filed a chargesheet against Congress leaders Rahul and Sonia Gandhi on April 9 before Delhi라이브 바카라 Rouse Avenue Court. They were charged under multiple sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act with the special MP/MLA court setting first hearing for April 25.

The case is related to a plot of land in Panchkula that was allotted by the then Congress government of Bhupinder Singh Hooda in May 2019 to Associate Journals Limited (AJL) which is the publisher of the newspaper National Herald. According to the chargesheet, 99 percent of  shares  were passed on to a private firm called “Young Indian” for a sum of 50 lakh despite the value of the said properties exceeding Rs. 2000 crore.

A Page From Priyanka Gandhi's Book

Swaraj라이브 바카라 move is witnessed after a similar depiction was carried out by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra while entering the parliament in December last year. The Congress leader entered the parliament with a handbag featuring the word “Palestine” followed by “Stand with Bangladeshi Hindu라이브 바카라 and Christians”. Her actions were in reference to support the people of Palestine while condemning Israel라이브 바카라 actions in Gaza. The second bag was in solidarity with the victims of attacks on minorities in Bangladesh that happened following the overthrow of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina earlier last year.
