Based on the nation's response and the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, military action appears to be inevitable after the Pahalgam terror attack, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said on Sunday in Thiruvananthapuram, ANI reported.
He said that Pakistan always denies their involvement in cross-border attacks despite training and arming terrorists across the border, adding that it has been a pattern over the past decades.
"I think it's very clear that there is a pattern. People are encouraged, trained, armed, and often guided from across the border. Then Pakistan denies all responsibility," he told ANI.
Tharoor said that usually operations are successful but the public only gets to know about the attacks that the central agencies fail to control, which is normal for every nation.
“No country can ever have a foolproof 100 per cent intelligence. We will never know about the various terror attacks that were successfully thwarted,” ANI quoted his saying.
He mentioned the 2019 Balakot air strike, which was a retaliation from India after Pakistan라이브 바카라 attack in Pulwama in February. He added that the current political landscape is a reminder of the same.
“It is clear that while we have a range of options - diplomatic, economic, intelligence sharing, covert, and overt action. Some sort of visible military response is unavoidable," the MP said.
He also responded to Pakistan라이브 바카라 People's Party chief Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari's "blood with flow" comment - over India suspending the Indus Water Treaty.
"If blood is going to flow, it will flow possibly more on their side than ours," said Tharoor, also saying that such “inflammatory rhetoric” will not help either side. However, if Pakistanis initiate anything, they will receive a response.
Pahalgam라이브 바카라 terror attack on Tuesday was one of the deadliest attacks India has witnessed in the recent decades - killing at least 26 civilians. In the aftermath, both countries implemented a number of diplomatic measures - suspending SAARC visas, limiting civilian visas, and for the first time in 64 years, revoking the Indus Water Treaty.
Pakistan stopped all trade with India, also banning all Indian airlines passing over their nation.
