The Karkardooma court in Delhi has dismissed the charges against 11 Muslim men who had been accused for being involved in the murder of a man called Babbu, during the 2002 Delhi riots. After five years of the case in court, the Delhi court dismissed the charges against these men due to a "lack of evidence."

As per Live Law, murder charges are now being drawn up against eight men belonging to a mob of the Hindu community.

In February 2020, a resident of Khajuri Khas, Babbu, was coming from work in his auto when he was attacked by a Hindu mob that beat him.

The video of this incident went viral and a mob was seen beating Babbu and another man wearing a skullcap. While the other man managed to flee, Babbu was left on the road and later succumbed to his injuries at GTB hospital.

Delhi Police arrested 19 people in relation to Babbu's murder, including 11 Muslim men. As per police, these men were "in the video" and all those identified had admitted their role in the mob.

However, the Karkardooma court observed that there was no evidence against these 11 men.

The counsel appearing for these men told the media that the men had been falsely accused. The court observed that the mob of the Muslim community had no role to play in the deceased라이브 바카라 beating, as they were sympathisers.

In February 2020, violent clashes broke out in North East Delhi. The wave of bloodshed, violence and vandalism lasted for four days. As per reports, the riots were brought about due to communal tensions when Hindu mobs attacked Muslims in the area.

Another key instigator of the riots was the CAA Bill. As per reports, clashes between anti and pro-CAA protestors turned into clashes which trigged a wave of violence for the next few days.

Forty-two people, including a policeman and an IB personnel, were killed due to the violence.
