Well-known educator and motivational speaker Avadh Ojha joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday. He took the party membership at the AAP headquarters in Delhi in the presence of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
Ojha, also a civil service coach, joined the part ahead of Delhi Assembly elections signaling the party's continued focus on education both in governance as well as electoral strategy. The party's new member also emphasised the same saying "he aligned with AAp's focus on education and children's future''.
"I want to thank Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia to give me a chance to work in the field of education in politics," Ojha said during the event.
Reports suggest that Ojha may contest the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
AAP National Convenor Kejriwal welcomed Ojha in the party saying he has made ''lakhs of youth capable of employment and living a good life by giving them good education."
