Farmers' Protest: Concrete Barricades At Shambhu Border Bulldozed; Leaders Detained
In a shocking move, Punjab police evicted protesting farmers from the Shambhu border and cleared the area. During this operation, several farmer leaders were detained by the police, including Sarwan Singh Pandher and Jagjit Singh Dallewal. This move comes on the same day farmer leaders had a meeting with n Union Ministers including Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Consumer Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal in Chandigarh.
