After 27 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is storming back to power in Delhi, toppling three-time CM Arvind Kejriwal, who lost his own seat along with AAP heavyweights Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Satyendar Jain. Earlier in the day, trends suggested a possible contest but as the numbers rolled in, the tide decisively turned in the BJP's favour. By 1:45 pm, ECI trends showed a clear 48-22 lead for the saffron party.
