Of the four바카라 웹사이트urban municipal bodies which will go to the polls, three were formed by the incumbent BJP government바카라 웹사이트recently: Palampur, Solan and Mandi.

The announcement comes immediately after the state Assembly passed a bill seeking to amend HP Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 and Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Elections Rules, 2012, paving the way for holding of these elections on party symbols.

This is first time when the elections to these municipal corporations will be held on the party symbols. The ruling BJP, which is in power, and also on a winning spree since 2017, aims to test the waters before the next 2022 Assembly polls.
