At least six army soldiers have been injured in a mine blast along the Line of Control area in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri.
As per local reports, the blast took place during a routine patrol when one person stepped on a mine, triggering the blast.
The soldiers were injured and they were immediately shifted to 150 General Hospital (GH) Rajouri for treatment.
As per news agency PTI, the troops were on patrol duty when one of the soldiers accidentally stepped over the landmine near Khamba Fort in Nowshera sector around 10.45 AM.
"As part of an anti-infiltration obstacle system, the forward areas near the Line of Control are dotted with landmines which sometimes get washed away by rains resulting in such types of accidents," the officials added.
