Mahakumbh Updates: Cylinder Blast Sparks Major Blaze, 18 Tents Gutted
A major fire broke out on January 19 in the sector 19 of Mahakumbh Tent City. The police said it was caused by an explosion of cooking cylinders which engulfed 18 tents. Kumbh Mela chief fire officer Pramod Sharma said 15 fire tenders were put into service.
