Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who currently is in Washington DC for a two-day official visit, held two separate meetings with US National Security Advisor (NSA) Michael Waltz and Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Thursday ahead of the much-awaited bilateral talks with US President Donald Trump.
The prime minister is expected to hold high-stakes talks with President Donald Trump in the face of concerns in New Delhi over Washington's new "America First" trade agenda as well as its policy on immigration.

During his meeting with Trump, a wide array of bilateral issues are expected to be on the table besides discussions on regional and international situations. This is Modi's first visit since the inauguration of the second presidential term of Trump on January 20.

Modi Meets NSA Michael Waltz
PM Modi met US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz on Thursday. The meeting with Waltz was his first engagement of the day.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval were also present at the meeting.
Modi Meets Elon Musk
After meeting with Waltz, Modi held a meeting with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Musk arrived at Blair House with his three young children, who were sitting with Musk when he met Modi.
US President Donald Trump has chosen Musk to head a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) last month.
Modi Meets DNI Tulsi Gabbard
After arriving at Blair House, the President라이브 바카라 Guest House, Modi met US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday.

PM Modi Staying At Blair House
PM Modi is staying at the Blair House, the US presidential guest house at the heart of the American capital city.

The prime minister will be hosted by the US President on Thursday in what would be the first bilateral talks between the two leaders after Trump assumed the presidency for a second term last month.
Modi's bilateral meeting with Trump is expected to focus on key topics such as trade, investment, technology, defense cooperation, counterterrorism, Indo-Pacific security, and people-to-people relations. The two leaders are also likely to address the situation in Bangladesh, along with other regional and global issues.
