Senior DMK leader and Minister of Forest and Khadi, K. Ponmudy, was dismissed from his post of party라이브 바카라 deputy general secretary after a video of him making sexual and religious derogatory remarks went viral on Thursday.
Ponmudy was heard saying that when a man visits a sex worker - she asks him if he is a Shaivite or a Vaishnavite - based on which the sexual position would be decided.

“Deputy general secretary of the party K Ponmudy is being relieved from his post,” said a statement from Tamil Nadu라이브 바카라 chief minister MK. Stalin said.
DMK deputy general secretary MP Kanimozhi on Friday said that, “the recent speech made by Minister Ponmudy cannot be accepted. Irrespective of the reasons for the speech, the derogatory speech is to be condemned.”
The comment - which was a joke - was from a public event held on April 6. It went viral on Thursday.
Ponmudy was heard saying, "when a man visits a sex worker - she asks him if he is a Shaivite or a Vaishnavite. The confused man probes further, to which she responds that pattai - a horizontal tilak (associated with Shaivism) and a naamam - a vertical tilak (associated with Vaishnavism) - define whether the sexual position should be ‘lying down’ or ‘standing up’, respectively."
“Thiru Ponmudi was once the Higher Education Minister of Tamil Nadu & now Minister for Forests and Khadi, and the youth of Tamil Nadu are expected to tolerate this filth? Not just this Minister, the entire DMK ecosystem is vulgar, foul-mouthed, and uncouth. Hang your head in shame, Thiru MK Stalin, for leading such a disgraceful pack,” BJP Tamil Nadu chief K Annamalai said on X.
Amit Malviya, BJP’S IT Cell head too took to X, saying that Ponmudy in 2022 targeted Hindi speakers in Tamil Nadu, mocking them as panipuri sellers - a divisive and controversial comment. “This isn’t Ponmudy라이브 바카라 first brush with controversy. “The pattern is clear. Whether it라이브 바카라 DMK, Congress, TMC, or RJD—members of the I.N.D.I. Alliance seem united not by ideology, but by a shared disdain for Hindu beliefs and a relentless pursuit of minority appeasement,” he continued to say.
Tiruchi Siva - who was filling up the Propaganda Secretary post up until now - has replaced Ponmudy. He is a member of the Rajya Sabha.
