UP Board Warns Students, Parents Of Cyber Fraud Offering Fake Mark Hikes

Cyber criminals are targeting students who have given board exams and asking them for money with a promise of increasing their marks in the board result or helping them in passing the 10th and 12th board exams.

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has posted on X, warning students and their parents to remain careful about any cyber fraud, asking money in exchange of increasing students’ marks in 10th and 12th board exams. UPMSP prepares to announce the result of 10th and 12th board examinations soon.

Cyber Fraud Regarding Marks Increase

In the latest post by UPMSP on X, UP board has warned the students and their parents of being aware of fraud calls. As UP board is all set to announce the result, they have observed that some cyber criminals are targeting students who have given board exams and asking them for money with a promise of increasing their marks in the board result or helping them in passing the 10th and 12th board exams.

UPMSP has also said that these cyber fraudsters are even misleading students by saying that their result has been announced. In the X post, UPMSP said that the same happened in past years too.

They advised students and their parents to go through the official handle of UPMSP or check the website upmsp.edu.in. for any update regarding the board results. And if any of the students face the scam issue, the board urges them to report immediately to the district school inspector in their area.

UP Board Result 2025

This year the UP board exams were continued from February 24 to March 12. A total of 54.38 lakh students registered for the 10th and 12th board exam this year. The result is likely to be announced soon.
