All eyes will be on Atanu Das, a former Olympian as well as Abhishek Verma, a winner of silver medal at the 2014 Incheon Games men's compound event. However, rest of the squad are primarily young. Aditi Gopichand Swami, 17, recently became the World Champion at the Berlin World Championships whereas Pravin Ojas Deotale is the first man to win a gold medal at the same event in Germany.

Indian archers had a dissapointing turnout at the last Games (2018) where they bagged two silver medals (men's compound team and women's compound team). With high hopes this time around, the bar has been raised for this young archery squad.
