Marco Asensio scored twice in the second half to fire Aston Villa into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win over Cardiff City on Saturday. The Villains dominated their Championship opponents throughout the game but could not find a goal well after the hour mark. In the 68th minute, Asensio opened scoring before doubling Villa's lead in the 80th minute. This is the first time after a decade that Aston Villa have advanced to the last eight stage.
