Bundesliga 2024-25: Leroy Sane Shines In Bayern Munich's 3-0 Win Over Mainz
Bayern Munich edged closer to reclaiming the Bundesliga title with a home win over Mainz. Leroy Sane opened the scoring with a close-range finish into the bottom corner. Michael Olise doubled the lead before halftime with a low shot past the Mainz goalkeeper. Eric Dier sealed the victory late on with a header from Olise's corner. Despite the win, the eight-point gap to league leaders Bayer Leverkusen remained, as Xabi Alonso's side won 2-0 against Augsburg, meaning Bayern would need another victory to clinch the title.
