Chasing a 236-run target, Bangladesh were eight down for 186 at one point but Nahida Akter joined forces with Moni to take the sub-continental side over the line. Moni, alongside Nahida Akter (18 not out) stitched together a match-winning 54-run stand for the ninth wicket, helping Bangladesh to their highest-successful chase in women's ODIs.
Following the loss, Ireland have been knocked out of the tournament with three losses in three games.
Earlier, some useful lower-order contributions and small partnerships pushed Ireland to a competitive total of 235/8 at the end of their innings. Rabeya Khan and Fahima Khatun were the standout performers with the ball for Bangladesh, claiming three and two wickets respectively.
Bangladesh entered the match high on confidence after a dominant 178-run win over Thailand, powered by Nigar Sultana라이브 바카라 century and dual five-wicket hauls from Fahima Khatun and Jannatul Ferdus.
Ireland went into this match following two straight defeats, the previous one a narrow six-run loss to West Indies in a rain-shortened contest despite a strong effort from Amy Hunter and Laura Delany.
