The hosts had chased down a 295-run target in style in the opener to snap an 11-game losing streak in ODIs against the Bangla Tigers, and came up with an encore on Tuesday. Shai Hope's men thus sealed the series with an unassailable 2-0 lead.

A 92-run partnership between Mahmudullah (62) and Tanzim Hasan Sakib (45) lifted the visitors from a precarious 115 for seven to a relatively respectable 227 all out in 45.5 overs. Jayden Seales claimed four wickets for 22 runs to dismantle the Bangladesh top-order but the lower-order resistance meant that the sub-continental side had something to defend.
