Here is your ready reckoner for the upcoming 50-over cricket tri-series involving Uganda, Bahrain and hosts Hong Kong
Hong Kong is set to host a men's one-day tri-series featuring Uganda and Bahrain. The tournament will be played from January 28 to February 3, 2025, at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground and Hong Kong Cricket Club. Watch the cricket series live online. (More Cricket News)
The tri-series will have each team playing the other two once, after which the top two sides will qualify for the final, to be played on February 2. The third-placed side will take on Hong Kong 'A' the following day.
January 28 (Tuesday), 6:30am IST: Hong Kong vs Uganda at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground
January 31 (Friday), 6:30am IST: Bahrain vs Uganda at Hong Kong Cricket Club
February 1 (Saturday), 6:30am IST: Hong Kong, China vs. Bahrain at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground
February 2 (Sunday), 6:30am IST: Final at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground
February 3 (Monday), 6:30am IST: Third-placed team vs Hong Kong 'A' at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground
Stating his enthusiasm for the upcoming series, Hong Kong head coach Simon Willis said, “This tournament will be ideal preparation for the important ICC World Cup Challenge League to be held in Hong Kong from February 6th, 2025.”
Cricket Hong Kong chairperson Burji Shroff added: “We are grateful to the Uganda Cricket Association and Bahrain Cricket Federation for sending their teams to Hong Kong to take part in this prestigious tournament. We look forward to high-quality 50-over cricket being held in Hong Kong.”
