The reports suggested that after India라이브 바카라 184-run defeat in Melbourne, the dressing room sunk in chaos with Gambhir having had enough of the average performances.
The 43-year-old put all the reports to bed by stating they were just reports, and not the truth.
"Debates between coach and player should remain in dressing room. Stern words. They were just reports not truth," Gautam Gambhir was quoted as saying by the PTI.
"Indian cricket will be in safe hands till honest people stay in the dressing room. Only thing that keeps you in the dressing room is performance," he added.
The Indian head coach also confirmed that he did not have any discussions with senior batter Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma except for tactics and strategies on how to win matches going forward.
"Every individual knows what are areas to work on. We have only had one conversation with them (and that is) how to win Test matches," he said.
Legendary India captain MS Dhoni, known for his composure and direct approach, expressed his lack of interest in social media.
"I have never been a big fan of social media, throughout I had different managers and they used to keep me pushing," Dhoni said on the latest episode of 'Tread Talks' of Eurogrip Tyres.
Reflecting on his journey, he also explained how his managers suggested using social media for public relations.
