The first ball on the fourth day will be bowled at 4:30am IST, instead of the 5am timing on the first three days, to make up for the overs lost to rain and bad light on Saturday. The match is being live streamed on the Disney+Hotstar app and website and Star Sports TV channels in India.

India bowled out for 369. Nitish Reddy is the last man to get out. Nathan Lyon finishes with three wickets. Reddy tries to take Lyon on and jumps out of his crease to hit. But he can not reach the pitch of the delivery and hands an easy catch to Mitchell Starc at long off. Reddy dismissed for 114(189).
IND 369 (119.3) trail by 105 runs.
An outstanding innings from Reddy has shrunk Australia's lead to 105, which is still a big lead. India would not want Australia to bat long in the second innings.
Sam Konstas, the hero of Australia's first innings, is on strike with Usman Khawaja accompanying him. Bumrah begins for India.

First boundary of this innings for Australia and it comes from Khawaja's bat. Khawaja guides this short of a length ball from Bumrah towards fine leg. Siraj makes a desperate attempt in the deep but can not save a boundary.

Bumrah bowls Konstas. The youngster had smashed Bumrah all around the park in the first innings, but in the second dig, it is the great man who shows why he is the best in the world. Bumrah comes up with a ball that jags back into Konstas and the 19-year-old has no answer for it.

Siraj begins his spell with a maiden. He had a poor first innings where he leaked runs at 5.30 per over. India would want him to come good this innings. Especially with Bumrah and Akash Deep bowling beautifully in the first 10 overs. A lot is riding on Siraj. He needs to ensure the pressure on Australian batters remains intact.

This boundary has come after a long time for Australia. Khawaja has seen off the new ball, with some luck of course. But now this shot would give him the confidence to bat freely. A little short from Akash Deep and Khawaja nails the pail over square leg for a four.

Khawaja's struggles have been ended and Mohammed Siraj is the man for India who does it. Khawaja never looked comfortable in this innings and will now have to walk back after scoring 21. Full from Siraj to entice Khawaja to play a drive. Khawaja obliges but his feet do not move. A little inside movement and Khawaja manages to play on to the stumps.

Indian pacers have been great so far in this innings. Just two wickets to show for their good bowling but India would be happy. They have put Australia under pressure with the new ball. Smith and Labuschagne in the middle for Australia and their lead currently is 158. India would want more wickets post Lunch break.

Australia are going no where in face of some exceptional bowling from India. The Indians are not getting wickets though and this is what Australia would be happy about. But some genuinely good bowling from all three Indian pacers. Troubling both batters consistently.

Mohammed Siraj gets the big fish. Steve Smith is the man to go. An overpitched delivery with some width on offer. Smith throws his bat at it seeing an opportunity to score but all gets is an edge and Rishabh Pant completes the catch behind the wicket. Siraj is pumped up and so are the Indian fans on ground. The centurion of the first innings departs in the second for just 13.

Another massive wicket for India. Bumrah brought into attack and just the first ball that he bowls to Head results in the wicket of the left hander. Head goes for the flick but does not time it well and Nitish Reddy is handed an easy catch. India absolutely delighted with that wicket. Australia under a bit of pressure now. It is also the 200th wicket for India.

Bumrah strikes twice in an over. Back of a length delivery on the off stump and Marsh just puts his bat out to play it. An edge and Pant does not make a mistake behind the stumps. Marsh poor run continues and Bumrah's great run just goes on and on. Two wickets in an over and Australia under serious pressure now.

Another one for Bumrah. Good length delivery that comes into Carey sharply after pitching to find enough gap between bat and pad to get to the stumps. Stunning stuff from Bumrah. Carey can not add much and India will now feel comfortable. Bumrah with his fourth scalp of the innings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal drops another catch. Labuschagne tries to guide this Akash Deep length ball towards the third man region. The ball goes to third slip where Jaiswal has to take it to his left. It is moving quick but was at a good height. Fluffed by Jaiswal.

Marnus Labuschagne gets to half-century. His third in last four innings. He is coming back into form. 23rd fifty in Test cricket for Labuschagne. Australia want him to keep going but he needs partners as well. This partnership has currently played seven overs. They need to stand there for more time.

Tea taken. Jaiswal is having a bad day in field. He drops his third catch of the day. Cummins defends Jadeja's full ball and it comes straight to Jaiswal around his ankles at silly point. Jaiswal gets his fingers to the ball but can not grasp it properly. Anyways, the over ends and tea has been taken.

Final session begins and we have Jasprit Bumrah into the attack straightaway. India wants wickets. They would want to fold Australian batting before the day ends.
50-run partnership has come up between Labuschagne and Cummins. The duo have done well to take the sting out of the Indian attack after four quick wickets. These two have batted over a hundred ball and ensured Australia's lead keeps growing.

Siraj pins Labuschagne in front of wickets. A bit fuller from Siraj and the ball comes back into Labuschagne. The batter is beaten on the inside edge and hit on the pads. Umpire raises finger. Australia review but to no avail. It is umpire's call. Labuschagne goes for 70 in 139 balls. Important innings for Australia.
Starc is the new man in. A double of the final ball of the over.

Mitchell Starc has been found short on the non-striker's end. A mix up and Starc has to run back from the middle of the pitch. Throw is at the striker's end but Pant gets a direct hit on the other end. And India are delighted. Just two wickets away from the end of Australia's innings.

Pat Cummins with a boundary to close the over. A little bit of width and Cummins slams the cut to the point boundary for a four. Cummins is the hope for Australia if they want to take the lead over 300.

Ravindra Jadeja comes into the attack and gets the wicket. Pat Cummins' vigil ends as he edges the ball to the slip. But what an innings from the Australian captain. Goes back for 41 but a really important innings. The lead is now 278 with just one wicket to go.

Bumrah has been brought back to take the final wicket of the innings. He strikes Boland on the pad on the last ball of the over. An appeal and India go upstairs. Ball tracking says the ball is missing the leg stump. India have lost two reviews on the last pair.

Scott Boland launches Siraj over point for a four. Short and wide from Siraj and Boland has no problems playing it to the boundary. A friutrating passage of play for India. Last wicket remaining and Boland and Lyon are just hangiing in there. A spell of Bumrah too did not work. This partnership has now played nine overs.

It is getting frustrating for India. New ball is available but India continue with the old one. The partnership has not stayed there for more than 100 balls. Lyon and Boland have made things slow and it is hurting India.

Fourth ball of the 82nd over and Lyon edges it to slips. Rahul manages to hold on to it with the help of his legs. India think they have got the last wicket. Bumrah thinks he has got the fifer. There is relief on Indian faces but then the umpire reveals that Bumrah has overstepped. Drama in the final over the day.

Four to finish the day. Lyon moves to 41 and the partnership for the last wicket is now 55. As frustrating as it gets for India and their fans. The last pair of Lyon and Boland will resume tomorrow after having batted 110 balls to deny India a closure.

A frustrating end but India would not be too disappointed with today's performance. India were bowled out early in the morning without adding much to their overnight total. Indian pacers troubled Australia from the very start and got rid of the openers early. Bumrah then ran through the middle order with wickets of Head, Marsh and Carey within two overs. Labuschagne scored 71 and Cummins got 40 and the duo combined well for a good partnership. However, resistance from Australia's last wicket pair of Lyon and Boland has now gone up to 55 and the duo will continue tomorrow. The lead for Australia is 333.
