Kohli, Jadeja In Firing Line As Australian Media Charges Up Things Ahead Of Boxing Day Test

On Saturday, local media in Australia accused Jadeja of not answering questions in English. A report by Chanel 7 was headlined: "Boxing Day tensions rise again after India라이브 바카라 latest media stunt at the MCG".

As per the report, Jadeja took questions from Indian media and answered them in Hindi and left without taking queries from local mediapersons.

The incident came just days after Kohli told an Australian mediapersons at the Melbourne airport to not film him and his family without prior permission. Things deescalated once Kohli was assured his family was not being filmed.

Australian media also stated that the Indian team was under pressure ahead of the fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test and the players had adopted a 'siege mentality.'

9News of Australia wrote on social media: “Pressure is intensifying on India ahead of the Boxing Day test with the tourists adopting a siege mentality. Just days after Virat Kohli라이브 바카라 fiery run-in with Australian media, today his teammates refused to answer questions from local reporters.”

Australian media is known to be harsh on visiting players and the above incidents are in line with their reporting that they usually do.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is currently locked at 1-1 after three Tests. India won the series opener in Perth before Australia levelled score with a victory in the pink ball Test in Adelaide. Rain denied result in the third Test at the Gabba in Brisbane. The fourth Test begins December 26 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The fifth and final Test will be a new year Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Jadeja has featured in only one game so far in this series while Kohli has played all three but found little success.
