After missing out on a place in the victorious Indian squad two years ago, power-hitter Niki Prasad will lead a strong Indian side that won the U-19 Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur last December.
The current squad also features G Trisha, Shabnam Shakil and Sonam Yadav from the World Cup-winning team. India defeated England by seven wickets in the Potchefstroom final of the inaugural Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. The West Indies failed to reach the knock-outs.
After the Windies match, India will play Malaysia on January 21 and Sri Lanka on January 23.

The second edition of the age-group World Cup kicked off on Saturday, with as many as 12 teams taking the field at different venues, but only three teams tasted victories.

In Bangi, Bangladesh thrashed undisciplined Nepal by five wickets. The Group D fixture witnessed six run outs, including five in the Nepali innings. Before that chaotic match, heavyweights Australia hardly broke a sweat in dispatching Scotland by nine wickets.
Three top teams from each group will progress to the Super Sixes. The group winners and runners-up of two Super Sixes will then play the semi-finals on January 31. The final is scheduled for February 2.
