IPL 2025 Revised Schedule: Which International Series/Matches Could Be Impacted?

Teams like Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians will be most affected by IPL 2025 revised schedule as it is coinciding with West Indies vs England white-ball series starting on May 29.

As per the updated schedule, the IPL 2025 league matches will conclude on May 27. The Qualifier 1 is slated to be held on on May 29 followed by Eliminator (May 30), Qualifier 2 (June 1) and the Final on June 3.

The BCCI revealed the fixtures on Monday, May 12, after the T20 league had come to a halt following the India-Pakistan tensions in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack.

The remaining 17 games will be played across six venues, that includes two double-headers, to be played on two Sundays.

The revised schedule could bring the international calendar into disruption given that many of the international stars are associated with the franchises in the IPL.

Which Series/Matches Could Be Affected?

The World Test Championship (WTC) final will be held on June 11, however some players from Australia and South Africa might need to return for national duty for preparations.

The England vs West Indies white-ball series, starts from May 29 and the likes of Jos Buttler, Jacob Bethell amongst other English players could return back home. The 2019 champions play three ODIs on May 29, June 1 and 3 following a three-match T20I series on June 6, 8, 10.

Moreover, the India A tour of England could also see some Indian stars in action. India A are slated to play three games - two against England Lions (May 30-June 2 & June 6-9) and one against the India squad (June 13-16).
