In the wake of a fragile ceasefire between India and Pakistan, BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla confirmed on Saturday that Board officials and the Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council will meet on Sunday to chalk out a revised plan to resume the suspended Indian Premier League. "The war has stopped. In the new situation, BCCI office bearers, officials and IPL Governing Council will discuss the matter tomorrow and take a call. We will see what can be the best schedule to complete the tournament," Shukla told PTI.
"That was an option when war was going on. There are many options which have been discussed. The ceasefire has just been announced, give some time to us, we will discuss and then only a decision will be taken," Shukla added.
However, while the ceasefire agreement—announced by U.S. President Donald Trump after backchannel diplomacy—brought temporary relief, India remains cautious.
Hours after the ceasefire announcement, blackouts were reported in Jammu & Kashmir, Pathankot, and Kathua, prompted by a series of drone sightings. The Indian side has alleged that these were fresh violations of the ceasefire understanding, signaling that Pakistan라이브 바카라 intentions remain suspect despite formal declarations.
After the ceasefire was announced, broadcasters were instructed to stay put at original IPL venues, raising hopes that the league might resume in cities like Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Dharamsala, however, remains a concern due to the airport shutdown and proximity to the Line of Control.

The ceasefire deal was confirmed officially by India라이브 바카라 Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who stated that the Directors-General of Military Operations (DGMOs) from both nations would cease all firing and military action across land, air, and sea.
