Islamabad United have won back-to-back games and lead the standings early on in the season. In fact, both of their wins have been by huge margins and they look in brilliant form. Multan Sultans scored 234 and yet lost to Karachi Kings in their opening game. They would want their bowlers to do better against a solid United side.

Sahibzada Farhan and Andries Gous are in the middle and they have made a measured start in the opening over of the game.

David Willey gives the first breakthrough to Multan Sultans. Andries Gous is gone. Meanwhile, Sahibzada Farhan, the centurion of last match, is again looking brilliant and he has raced to 32 off 19 balls.

Finally a breakthrough for Multan Sultans and the dangerous Sahibzada Farhan is gone. He departs for 53 from 35 balls. The partnership which was threatening to take the game away has been broken. Colin Munro will be joined by captain Shadab Khan now.

Shadab Khan looked good in his short stay but now has to depart. Chris Jordan with his first wiket of the night. Usama Mir has been brilliant with his leg spin so far. 15 runs off 3 overs from Mir. Colin Munro is still there to fire up Islamabad.

Things have slowed down considerably for the United and Chris Jordan has helped the Sultans come back into the game. 200 seems out of the equation now for Islamabad. But they would want to get as close to 200 as possible. Haider Ali will need to have a good night if Islamabad want to go big.

What a finish for Islamabad United. They have taken their total to over 200. 64 runs from the last 4 overs and the United have absolutely ruled the death overs. Jason Holder remains unbeaten on 32 off just 14 balls. Haider Ali departed in the penultimate over but he also was brilliant for his 33 off 16 balls. A big end in the end and Islamabad have a big score now.

Multan Sultans are off to a great start in the powerplay. 62 runs from the first six overs and they are in the game right from the start of their chase. Their captain Mohammad Rizwan is still there and he would look to bat long. Other batters will try to do the hitting.

Multan are going well. They are keeping up with the required run rate but the wickets are going as well. Mohammed Rizwan is there still for the Sultans but they would need him to start getting those big shots. Shadab Khan has bowled well to tighten things for United.

Seems like the game is done. Middle overs were the decisive part of this game. Multan managed 62 in the powerplay and since then in the last nine overs they have only added 75 runs and also lost four wickets. Iftikhar Ahmed is still in the middle and that would help them hope. But too tough now.

The Sultans are bowled out for 155 in 18.4 overs and they have got a very big defeat. Another commanding performance from Islamabad United. They just keep winning and winning it all big.

Multan Sultans just capitulated after a good start. It was a good powerplay for them and then they collapsed. 30s from a few batters but none of them could score big and they lost by 47 runs in front of the target of 202. Jason Holder picked up four wickets for United. He had also scored an important 32 not out to take United to 202. So, overall a great day for him and Islamabad win three in three games.

Islamabad United now have three wins in three games while Multan Sultans are now without any points in two games.
